Matthew J. Brosious

President/CEO

Matt’s entrepreneurial mindset is the backbone behind the core of FreightCenter. His natural ability to build relationships along with tenacity when working with various carriers during the beginning steps of the company’s existence has transformed the company to where it stands today. It is this perseverance to work and establish relationships and deeper discounts that has translated into continuously larger savings for the customer and allowing the company to flourish in the manner that it has through the years.

Growing up, Matt’s family moved around quite a bit due to career changes and promotions, though he considers his strongest ties to be with the Mid West and New York. Matt's work ethic and discipline were learned in part from his years of being a United States Army's elite 2nd Ranger Battalion, where he was awarded the Ranger Tab, Airborne Wings and the Army Commendation Medal amongst others. His vast understanding of the freight industry, and savvy computer, technical, and networking skills have proven to be a big asset for the business. FreightCenter's huge network consisting of the top names in the industry exemplifies how well- known and respected Matt is throughout the transportation community.

Jim Brosious

Chairman of the Board & Owner

When someone inquires about FreightCenter and its conception and beginnings, Jim will begin to profoundly explain how FreightCenter.com was created to bring the world's best freight carriers and services to a single location and the vision that held strong from the start. That’s because he’s passionate about the company that he has developed and transformed through the years.

From the frigid halls of the University of Minnesota to the balmy coast of Florida, this former US Marine has always had a knack and drive for business. “Being lucky does not happen by luck” is one of Jim’s favorite beliefs and it’s believing in that mindset that has contributed to Jim's business success. Over the years, Jim has held various positions within the business field including Director of Sales, Sales and Marketing Strategist, Corporate Instructor and now and most successfully a Business Owner. His expertise and inspiration is one of the driving forces in the company's progress. Jim truly believes that FreightCenter “is a freight services company with real answers that will save you not only money, but time and hassle in dealing with shipping.”

Doug Walls

Chief Information Officer

With talent and expertise in both the technical and strategic side of the business world, Doug is known as the go-to guy for the people and departments at FreightCenter. He has more than eight years of IT and networking experience and is an integral part of the successes that the company continues to achieve, especially its web applications development.

A rare breed in Florida, Doug is an actual Tampa Bay native, hailing from the Bradenton area. He earned a BFA from the University of South Florida and holds a detailed resume of various graphic design, web applications, IT, and overall business experience. This versatile level of experience makes it easier to translate the company's business and positioning goals to the staff. Most importantly, Doug possesses an excitement when relating to business and industry.

Mike Friedly

Vice President of Logistics

Mike is a dynamic senior transportation and logistics management executive with 20 years of industry experience. His extensive professional background includes executive positions with several logistics companies in the Southeast.

Mike's technical logistics knowledge helps us meet the unique needs of our customers. Under his leadership, our customers receive our full attention, which allows them to concentrate more on their core business and less on transportation for their supply chains.

With Mike’s leadership, his experienced team of specialists continues to expand our suite of truckload logistics services.

Stacey Boswell

Director of Accounting

Stacey’s diverse set of skills and expertise are perfect for her complex role within our organization. During her professional career, she has performed in several managerial roles in charge of payroll, accounting, operations and finance.

Stacey started as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and was quickly promoted to her current position within two years. Stacey is the foundation of our accounting department, managing all aspects of finance and investments. Stacey provides fiscal guidance for executives and managers, and is responsible for business tax regulation, employee financials and benefits, and capital and asset management. Under Stacey's influence, our company has continually doubled annual revenues and maintained a steady level of year-to-year growth.

Terese Kerrigan

Director of Marketing

Terese brings more than 10 years of marketing, public relations and sales experience to our Marketing Department. Terese began her education in Mass Communications and later graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She is also a certified transportation marketing professional. Prior to establishing her career with our company, Terese spent several years working in Tampa and New York City where she specialized in publicity, media relations and event coordination.

Terese directs the overall marketing and strategic campaigns, facilitating business and customer relationships through marketing, publicity, advertising and community partnerships. Under her leadership, she has expanded our network of partners and services, produced a solid branding strategy, improved internal and external communication channels and invested in new and innovative marketing techniques.

Justin Langley

Creative Director

Justin has more than eight years of experience specializing in graphic design, user experience and corporate branding. Since graduating in 2005 from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design, Justin has influenced the direction of several world class brands.

Serving as Art Director for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Hooters, Justin has experience managing the conceptual and stylistic direction of large organizations. Justin has a sharp eye for strong user interface design, as well as for print and digital marketing campaign materials.

Justin's style and vision continue to elevate the look and feel of our brand, helping us to differentiate our company as a leader in freight logistics and technology.

Tiffany Brown

Human Resources Manager

Tiffany manages all aspects of Human Resources and is instrumental in the process of hiring staff and negotiating employee benefits. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management. During her education, she focused on law before moving into business management.

Tiffany provides a comprehensive HR advisory and consultancy services to staff and management. She also administers recruiting efforts to bring in top talent in sales, marketing, logistics and management. Tiffany is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy work environment for employees, and continually implements best business practices and state regulations. Her focus on internal communications and employee satisfaction is the foundation for making us an award-winning, professional workplace.

Joel Levey

Software Sales Manager

Joel has more than 10 years of experience developing partnerships with nationwide logistics companies. As an outside sales agent, Joel learned the ins and outs of the transportation and logistics industry. His vast knowledge of less than truckload and full truckload logistics make him a perfect candidate to promote our transportation management system.

Joel handles all aspects of TMS software licensing, from interactive online demonstrations to contract negotiations and client services. His knowledge of key performance indicators for businesses has helped hundreds of our software users cut transportation spend and improve efficiencies within their operations.

Ali Choiniere

Sales Floor Manager

Ali Choiniere has extensive sales, customer service and logistics experience. Prior to joining our company, Ali served as a Regional Supervisor in the airline industry where she managed more than 300 employees in 10 different cities. Ali began her career as a sales agent and quickly climbed the ranks by working in various capacities before earning a promotion in 2010.

An expert in logistics and freight requirements, Ali is responsible for training new hires and continuing their education of LTL and truckload shipping, as well as customer care technique. Through her commitment to our shippers, carriers and staff, Ali is a leading example of quality customer service. Her managerial style and leadership help create an environment where knowledgeable, highly trained staff work together to continue our reputation of being a leading shipping solutions provider.

Tyler Jackson

Manager, National Accounts

Tyler’s professional background clearly demonstrates his commitment to the freight and transportation industry. From early on in his career, Tyler has focused on logistics, holding positions in both sales and marketing. In his role at FreightCenter, he leverages his experience to develop key performance indicators and standard operating procedures for his team. Tyler’s concentration on ROI, which stems from his education in finance and economics, ensures the success and growth of our Logistics Division.

Since joining FreightCenter in May of 2012, Tyler has implemented a new training program for National Account Managers that assures a smooth and seamless transition for new recruits. This program allows his team to quickly meet departmental goals and ultimately drive more business. His results-driven management style has proven to be a valuable asset to our company, further enhancing the leadership team of the industry’s fastest growing freight shipping provider.

Claude Brooks

Special Services Supervisor

Claude brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from the sales and marketing fields. Claude graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Masters of Arts in Business. His dedication and loyalty comes from 7 years spent serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Claude has a combined 22 years of sales and marketing experience working for high profile organizations such as Coca-Cola USA, Phillip Morris USA, Capital One Auto Finance and Centex Corporation.

Claude's military experience, education and sales knowledge make him a valuable asset to our managerial team. Claude plays an integral role in resolving and managing shipper and carrier issues. He continuously leads his team to produce award-winning results, building strong relationships with our valued customers.

Richard Shamblin

Platinum Group Coordinator

Bringing more than 25 years of professional experience to his position, Rich serves a vital role in our organization. Before becoming a key player in developing our top-tier sales team, Rich managed several different aspects of sales and marketing strategies for large organizations and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Livingston University. Rich has a proven track record in driving sales, while delivering complete customer satisfaction.

His marketing and internal communications expertise add value to our Platinum Group, which handles our high-volume, commercial-based customers. Rich focuses on building lasting relationships with top clients, as well as managing outside partnerships and monitoring shipments for our TMS customers.

Uzzie De La Iglesia

Sales Floor Supervisor

Uzzie is a seasoned logistics expert with a vast knowledge of advanced sales strategy and customer service techniques. Having first worked as a truck driver and freight agent, Uzzie fully understands the in and outs of less than truckload logistics. Uzzie holds several certifications in Web & Graphic Design from both the Chubb Institute and the Art Institute of Philadelphia.

Uzzie’s enthusiasm and charisma are motivators for our less than truckload department. His knowledge of computers and software make him an excellent trainer, allowing agents to fully learn our transportation management system and internal processes.

Jose Ochaita

Carrier Sales Supervisor

Jose has extensive knowledge of global freight logistics and operations. With nine years of experience working for a freight logistics provider in Central America, Jose quickly became a valuable team member. Jose leads our Carrier Sales department, which is responsible for securing capacity through established LTL and truckload carriers.

Since Jose became supervisor, he has enhanced our intermodal services and established standard operating procedures for carrier selection. He has identified important key performance indicators for our transportation management software, which allows us to procure and maintain qualified suppliers and service providers. By establishing partnerships with best-in-class carriers, Jose greatly contributes to our overall business objectives and to the goals of our customers.

Lisa Patenaude

Sales Floor Supervisor

For more than two years, Lisa has contributed to the overall level of professionalism and service we expect from a freight representative. Her proven track record in customer service and sales has quickly allowed her to advance to a supervisory role. As a proficient trainer and motivator, Lisa was one of the first to take part in our mentor program, which pairs motivated representatives with a team of new and existing employees in order to expand their knowledge of freight and logistics.

Lisa is a shining example of a dedicated representative. With minimal experience and knowledge of freight transportation, Lisa rapidly learned the ins and outs of LTL and international shipping. In her role as supervisor, Lisa strives to mold her team members into knowledgeable and successful freight representatives.
