Since its beginnings in 1998, Brosious’s entrepreneurial mindset has been the backbone behind the core of FreightCenter’s values and name. His work ethic and discipline were first learned in part from his years of being a United States Army’s elite 2nd Ranger Battalion.
Brosious’s vast understanding of the freight industry, along with his savvy computer, technical and networking skills have proven to be an invaluable asset to FreightCenter’s rapid success and growth. His tenacity when working with various carriers during the beginning steps of the company’s existence has transformed the company to where it stands today.
In 2011, Brosious received the Gulf Coast Business Review’s 2011 “40 Under 40” award for leadership and business management.
Alison Choiniere first began her career at FreightCenter in 2004 as a Sales Representative. In 2013, Choiniere was named Director of Sales – a position she has thrived in as her leadership in sales helped FreightCenter win numerous awards for company growth by nationally recognized organizations and publications. Most recently, in July of 2016, Choiniere was promoted to Vice President of operations, making her the first female executive in FreightCenter’s company history.
In her current position of COO as of January 2018, Choiniere oversees the daily operations of all departments including customer service, purchasing, human resources, recruiting, training, marketing, and the resolutions department. Her strong understanding of current operations allow her to meet the needs of both the customer base and operational departments. Choiniere’s unparalleled dedication and loyalty to FreightCenter contributes to her fully knowing the ins and outs of all operational departments.
A University of South Florida graduate, Van Ness has years of previous experience in public accounting and in recent years has decided to make the transition to internal accounting. As Chief Financial Officer, Van Ness manages the finances of FreightCenter through financial audits of each department as well as overseeing the Accounting Department. Her heavily influenced finance background brings many assets to FreightCenter including her ability to manage banking and vendor relationships. She believes in leading her team in an approachable and team-player style as she regards company culture to be one of the most important aspects of success, as well as creating an environment where employees are challenged and encouraged to grow.
Terese Kerrigan is a Florida native and completed her education at none other than the University of South Florida with a major in Creative Writing. After graduation, Kerrigan spent a few years working in the Tampa Bay area, before heading to the Big Apple to take on the world of finance. Ultimately, Kerrigan decided her heart was in the Sunshine State and her passion was in digital marketing, where she could utilize both her writing and finance skills. Kerrigan came to FreightCenter in 2010 as a marketing coordinator and through hard work and determination worked her way up to senior marketing manager. The rest, they say, is history.
Born in New Jersey, Mitchell moved to Lake Forest at the age of five before heading off to Purdue University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. Upon graduation, Gladstone headed to the big city of Chicago to pursue his passion in the information technology field.
